Area under coffee, per district
Main map: area under coffee mapped by ISRO and the Coffee Board, September 2024. Shading is log-scaled.
Coffee counts include every sub-region, so a district total covers the estates and hill belts inside it. Parent and sub-region totals overlap and should not be added together.
Inset: 6,092 ha planted across seven states, the Coffee Board of India, 2023-24, provisional, on its own scale. The atlas maps only 674 ha of North-Eastern canopy and publishes no breakdown by state — the Coffee Board counts registered planted area, including stock not yet bearing, so the two are not comparable.
