Vyom 01

VYOM 01 comes from Basankhan Estate in Chikmagalur, a family-run coffee farm with more than a century of growing history. Now managed by its fourth generation, the estate cultivates coffee beneath a diverse shade canopy alongside black pepper, cardamom, oranges, lemons and bananas. The cherries are selectively picked before being pulped, washed and carefully dried. Our medium roast preserves the coffee’s crisp fruit character while developing enough sweetness and structure for both filter and espresso. As a filter, VYOM opens with fresh green apple, followed by the soft juiciness of muskmelon and a clean golden-caramel finish. The cup is bright but not aggressively acidic, with a rounded mouthfeel that keeps the fruit balanced. Pulled as espresso, the profile becomes warmer and more familiar. Expect red apple, buttery toffee and milk chocolate, with enough body to drink straight or pair gently with milk. This is the brightest and most versatile coffee in the series: expressive enough for a slow pour-over, yet sweet and structured enough for a balanced espresso.
