Jannapura Estate presents Frozen Cherry Imperial—a bold and experimental nanolot that redefines fruit-forward coffee through precision processing and controlled fermentation. This lot begins with carefully handpicked, fully ripened coffee cherries that are frozen in an industrial freezer for 48 hours. This freezing step enhances cellular breakdown, allowing deeper infusion of flavours during the next stage. The cherries are then anaerobically fermented with yeast, developing a complex and layered profile, before being slowly dried on raised beds for 18 days to lock in clarity and sweetness. best brewed at lower temps due to being anaerobic. Has an intensely sweet smell right after brewing. Gives a cola and cherry sweet taste at the backend. Body is much lighter than normal light roasts, almost like tea
