About Badra Estate – Agave Barrel Aged

From the hills of Chikmaglur, Karnataka, this coffee is produced by Badra Estate and grown at 1000–1100 MASL. The SLN 795 and Chandragiri varietals are carefully harvested, then aged in agave barrels. The barrel ageing gives the beans a sweet, spirit-soaked character that you won’t find in a conventional washed or natural coffee. This is a nano-lot, so only a small quantity is available. The result is a smooth, dessert-like cup that shows what barrel ageing can add to Indian coffee. Expect a sweet, layered profile with notes of agave sweetness, caramel, and vanilla, finishing with a warm oak finish that lingers. Perfect for brewers who like rich, sweet coffees with a touch of barrel-aged depth. Best suited for cold brew, and pour-over (try it hot, you will be amazed!). Roasted on order, so it reaches you fresh.
