Grown at 3,450 ft on Salawara Estate in Sakleshpur, Hassan, this single estate Arabica (SLN 795 varietal) goes through a mosto double fermented washed process — where the cherries ferment in their own coffee-cherry mucilage across two stages for an intensely layered cup. Expect raspberry jam sweetness upfront, candied citrus brightness through the middle, and a smooth milk chocolate finish that rounds the cup out beautifully. Medium roasted, this coffee is well suited to pour-over, AeroPress, and espresso, and is best enjoyed black to appreciate the full complexity the mosto fermentation brings to the cup.
