Plantation Berry

Ainmane's Plantation Berry is a special single variety round and washed Arabica bean which enables even roasting that imparts a unique colour, flavour and taste enjoyed by discerning coffee drinkers! The peculiarity of this coffee bean is its mutation, where instead of two seeds within there would only be a single seed shaped like a pea. Therefore the name, Peaberry. These beans are hand sorted as one would not know which berry would consist of the Pea-Berry during picking, and therefore make it labour intensive. Pea-Berry beans roast differently from the corresponding flat berry beans; hence, to ensure an even roast in high-grade coffee peaberry beans are often separated.
