Hill Tiller Coffee Roasters is a farm-to-cup coffee brand based in Yercaud in the Shevaroy Hills of Tamil Nadu, drawing on a legacy of coffee cultivation that spans more than a century. The company sources its beans exclusively from estates within the MSP Coffee group in the region, where coffee is grown at high elevations, shade-grown, hand-picked, and processed before being roasted on the farm itself. This integrated approach allows the brand to maintain close control over the journey from cultivation to roasting while highlighting the character of coffees produced in the Shevaroys. The estates supplying Hill Tiller include locations such as Moganad, Bison Valley, Stanmore, Hidden Falls and Orchardale, each contributing beans grown in nutrient-rich soils and distinctive microclimates at elevations reaching up to around 5,000 feet. The roastery’s lineup spans traditional washed coffees, blends, and more experimental processing styles, including anaerobic fermentation and ingredient-driven fermentations, reflecting an interest in exploring varied flavour profiles while remaining rooted in estate-grown coffee production.
