ICB Fortnight 5 · 2 May 2026
What's new, what's shrinking, what's coming.
Hello,
This is Issue 5. Thirty-five new coffees landed on ICB this fortnight — naturals from Araku, washed lots from the South, and a handful of anaerobics worth paying attention to.
There's also a question going around r/IndiaCoffee that's quietly significant: are 200g bags becoming the new default, effectively raising the per-gram price without changing the sticker? We've pulled that thread in below.
And for the first time, a preview of something new on ICB — Curators. More on that near the end. Reply if anything catches your attention.

Anecdote Roasters · Araku Valley, Andhra Pradesh
Twilight at Dumbriguda
Natural
Light Roast
Arabica
Dumbriguda marks a specific valley within Araku, Andhra Pradesh — one of India's higher-altitude tribal growing belts, where arabica cultivation has developed alongside indigenous farming communities. Anecdote Roasters' Twilight at Dumbriguda is a light-roast natural from that origin, newly listed on ICB. At this roast level, Araku naturals tend toward stone fruit and florals, with the altitude and agroforestry context often coming through in the cup.
