Mondul Estate AA Washed

This AA washed lot comes from Mondul Estate, a 211-hectare farm located in northern Tanzania’s Arusha region — within Maasai territory and managed under the Burka Estates group. Established in 1931 and acquired in 2007, Mondul is known for its structured operations, high elevation, and consistent processing standards. Washed and dried on raised beds using spring water from the estate, this lot reflects the hallmarks of Tanzanian coffees: floral aromatics, tangy-sweet acidity, and a clean, tea-like finish. Our filter roast is intentionally light, with just enough development to preserve origin clarity while unlocking balanced sweetness. Mondul represents a model of controlled production — from farm management to cup profile — delivering a coffee that’s precise, articulate, and rooted in process.
