Indravathi Estate in Chikmagalur cultivates a wide spectrum of Arabica and Robusta varieties including SLN 795, SLN 9, Cauvery, Chandragiri, Old Peridenia and C × R. Spanning 307 acres at 3,859 feet, the estate sustains more than 50 native jungle tree species and a high density of wildlife, supported by ongoing forest and wildlife research programs. The farm has transitioned to full organic practices, established water-harvesting infrastructure, expanded vermi-composting, and adopted a coexistence approach that accepts crop loss to wildlife as part of a long-term ecological strategy. Coffee is processed on site using washed, natural and honey sun-dried methods. South India Coffee Company (SICC) is an Indian specialty green coffee trade house built on transparency and traceability, sourcing from over 30 producers and distributing globally. Its research and development wing, SICC Labs, focuses on low-intervention Coffea species and climate-resilient agricultural practices. The coffee was grown and harvested at Indravathi Estate and processed by SICC.
