KUP Coffee Roasters is a Chennai-based roaster working with Indian specialty coffee grown between 1,000 and 1,800 MASL across the Western and Eastern Ghats. It roasts in small batches in South India, dating every bag, and frames its range around making Indian specialty coffee approachable — treating South Indian filter and pour-over as equally serious. KUP also runs cafés in Chennai at Nungambakkam and Alwarpet, holds regular cuppings, and has collaborated with hotels and venues including Park Hyatt and The Botanical Club.
